Hi everyone! I’m new to exploring Filipino cinema and I’ve been hearing so much about classic Tagalog movies from the ’70s and ’80s, especially the comedies. I love light-hearted stuff, but I’m totally confused about where to start because there are so many names floating around like Dolphy films or something with Vic Sotto? Could someone recommend a few must-watch old Tagalog comedies that are funny even today, and maybe explain why they’re special? I’d appreciate any tips on where to stream them too - I’m lost on that part! Thanks a bunch!
