filipino “utang na loob” breaking me rn
been banging my head against the wall for 6 straight hours trying to wrap my head around utang na loob and all these family fiesta obligations. like, i get bayanihan vibes but why does one small favor turn into lifetime debt? prepping for my first barrio fiesta invite and i’m panicking-do i bring lechon or just lumpia? pagmamano wrong and i’m ghosted forever? someone school this desperate newbie before i embarrass myself sa buong barangay. halp pls 😭
