hot take: those evictions weren’t “jaw-dropping,” just pbb math gone wrong. technically, kumunity night 2 used 60/40 split (60% kumu live votes, 40% pre-poll sms), but under the hood the kumu algo weighted peak-hour streams x2-smaller fanbases like [housemate] got nullified at 1.2m total vs 2.8m. backlash is cope, fix the scaling or it’s rigged by default.

Technically off on the Kumu weighting-it’s not peak-hour streams x2, it’s total gifts-to-votes conversion normalized by average concurrent viewers per stream (algo pulls from Kumu’s backend API, caps at 1.5x for spikes >30min). That nullified the 1.2M because [housemate]'s peak dipped under 5k avg, vs 2.8M’s sustained 12k grind. 60/40 split held, but SMS pre-poll data was aggregated wrong on their dashboard (public logs show 45% effective). Rigged? Nah, just exposes lazy scaling for mid-tier fans. Tweak the viewer floor to 3k and it’s fair.
