I was grabbing some fish at the market yesterday and the tindera mentioned her husband’s boat crew had to turn back again because of those Chinese ships out there. Prices were already creeping up and it just felt closer to home than the usual headlines.
We’ve seen this standoff drag on but hearing it hit regular folks trying to make a living made me pause.
