Saw a post saying the DFA made embassy renewals way simpler lately with their online portal. Tried starting mine from here in California last week, uploaded what I thought were the right docs for the renewal without needing to fly back, but the system keeps flagging the old passport scan as invalid. Now I’m stuck on whether to rescan it or switch to mailing the physical one in.
