Converge slow in Laguna afternoons—what to try next?

Converge drops to a crawl every afternoon once you’re past the Manila suburbs.

I switched last month thinking their fiber would hold up in Laguna, but peak hours it’s stuck at 5-10 Mbps download even though the plan is supposed to be 100. Tried the usual restarts and WiFi channel changes, no difference. PLDT was the old one and it was spotty too but at least didn’t die completely during work calls.

What should I try next?
