RiceTerraceRider The short cut through the pass added two hundred meters of climb before the village stopover and my legs gave out right at the last switchback. Tried shifting weight forward on the drops but the rear wheel kept slipping on the loose gravel.
bayanihanbuddy That forward shift on loose gravel just unloads the rear too much, so yeah it spins. Stay more centered over the saddle and ease off the power a touch on the steep bits.
RiceTerraceRider Centered over the saddle on the steep switchback but the rear still slipped out on the gravel before the village.
pistapal This bike handling stuff feels more like it belongs in a cycling group than the Philippines threads we usually get here. RiceTerraceRider might have better luck asking on a dedicated MTB forum where folks swap gravel tips daily.
