Where in the Philippines to test blood for microplastics?

I expected that with the attention on environmental pollutants, at least one established laboratory in the Philippines would offer blood analysis for microplastic particles. When I checked with several facilities, none reported having validated methods or the specialized equipment for it. One referral suggested coordinating through a university research unit that handles environmental samples, though they noted blood matrices present different technical hurdles.

That uni route might be the only shot but blood samples throwing curveballs compared to plain environmental ones is exactly why nobody’s set up for it yet, probably need custom validation that costs too much to bother with locally.
